Relationship & Marriage Tips for Men

Relationship & Marriage Tips for Men:
0. All of us have to stop delegating 'being spiritual and prayerful' to our women! We must stop courting irresponsibility and expecting them to have us spiritually covered!
1. It is easy to see that the world is largely a mess because those who hold so much power misuse it!
2. Older men should be ashamed to talk about a 'falling' new generation when this generation simply learned from them and polished their amazing bad examples! Succeeding generations who are either not mentored or wrongly taught are a menace to their own time!
3. Men must learn to take responsibility as much as they desperately want to take credit!
4. Too many men are making success of business and career whilst failing to raise one decent child
5. It is an absolute shame for a man to think it is the responsibility of a woman to train the child; this noble duty is the couple's job and the man is particularly a role model and mentor! He sits on top of the ladder and must dictate the right influence
6. God will not stop at asking you if you paid school fees and put food on the table! He will examine how you mentored your kids!
7. A man's failure doesn't die with him, it spirals into the next generation until a man stands up to change the narrative! See where Adam's choice got the whole world thousands of years later
8. Nobody is a bastard! Every person you see on earth came off a man who God trusted to lay a foundation!
9. The world is full of many men but very few mentors! We look around and its a shame how few we are who the world can look to and learn a different thing!
10. Rise up and change the narrative of your family! Be the new stream from whom new life proceeds. Set the moral and spiritual pace in a way that changes the next generation!
11. Wake up guys, being the leader doesn't mean you are law unto yourself! You are accountable to your wife and Children and to God!
12. Always listen to her and ask for her opinion in all matters. She is the lady of the house.
13. If she wants you to go to the Gym, do so and loose some weight and not get a side-chick, bcos she will know somehow.
14. Remember three (3) things: the 11th commandment which states that though shall not be caught. Secondly, always put her in the picture by considering her feelings. Thirdly, don't break the Bro's Code.
15. A family that prays together stays together. God has to be the first.

The Legal Practitioner’s Privilege Committee (LPPC), unveiled the list of these candidates considered for the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) for 2017.
A statement by the secretary of LPPC, Ahmed Gambo Saleh, who also serve as the Registrar of Supreme Court, said that 91 lawyers were screened for this year’s SAN award, bringing them another step closer to joining the elite club of legal practitioners. Mr. Saleh gave a breakdown of the candidates as comprising 67 practising lawyers and 24 legal scholars.
Akinlolu Osinbajo, a brother of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was amongst those who made the list from practising lawyers category; while Bolaji Owasanoye of the presidential anti-corruption panel was picked from the academia.
The number of shortlisted candidates this year rose sharply over the number of those considered for the award in the previous year. The committee shortlisted 50 candidates in the 2016 exercise, but eventually cleared 22 and conferred them with the award, which is the highest for the Nigerian bar.
Out of 124 applications received in 2015, the LPPC elevated only 20 Nigerians with senior advocate status. More than 400 Nigerians have been conferred with the award since it began in 1973 with the elevation of the late legal luminary, Rotimi Williams, as the first awardee. The LPPC said it would welcome contributions from the general public in further determining the character of the individuals named for the award. The list of all the 91 advocate names earlier shortlisted for both Practicing Lawyers Category and Academic Category are:

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Multiple sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) can cause a wide range of symptoms and can affect any part of the body. Each person with the condition is affected differently.
The symptoms are unpredictable. Some people's symptoms develop and worsen steadily over time, while for others they come and go.
Periods when symptoms get worse are known as "relapses". Periods when symptoms improve or disappear are known as "remissions".
Some of the most common symptoms include:
Most people with MS only have a few of these symptoms.
See your GP if you're worried you might have early signs of MS. The symptoms can be similar to several other conditions, so they're not necessarily caused by MS.
Read more about diagnosing MS.

Fatigue

Feeling fatigued is one of the most common and troublesome symptoms of MS.
It's often described as an overwhelming sense of exhaustion that means it's a struggle to carry out even the simplest activities.
Fatigue can significantly interfere with your daily activities and tends to get worse towards the end of each day, in hot weather, after exercising, or during illness.

Vision problems

In around one in four cases of MS, the first noticeable symptom is a problem with one of your eyes (optic neuritis). You may experience:
  • some temporary loss of vision in the affected eye, usually lasting for days to weeks
  • colour blindness
  • eye pain, which is usually worse when moving the eye
  • flashes of light when moving the eye
Other problems that can occur in the eyes include:
  • double vision
  • involuntary eye movements, which can make it seem as though stationary objects are jumping around
Occasionally, both of your eyes may be affected.

Abnormal sensations

Abnormal sensations can be a common initial symptom of MS.
This often takes the form of numbness or tingling in different parts of your body, such as the arms, legs or trunk, which typically spreads out over a few days.

Muscle spasms, stiffness and weakness

MS can cause your muscles to:
  • contract tightly and painfully (spasm)
  • become stiff and resistant to movement (spasticity)
  • feel weak

Mobility problems

MS can make walking and moving around difficult, particularly if you also have muscle weakness and spasticity (see above). You may experience:
  • clumsiness
  • difficulty with balance and co-ordination (ataxia)
  • shaking of the limbs (tremor)
  • dizziness and vertigo, which can make it feel as though everything around you is spinning

Pain

Some people with MS experience pain, which can take two forms:
  • Pain caused by MS itself (neuropathic pain) – this is pain caused by damage to the nervous system. This may include stabbing pains in the face and a variety of sensations in the trunk and limbs, including feelings of burning, pins and needles, hugging or squeezing. Muscle spasms can sometimes be painful.
  • Musculoskeletal pain – back, neck and joint pain can be indirectly caused by MS, particularly for people who have problems walking or moving around that puts pressure on their lower back or hips.

Problems with thinking, learning and planning

Some people with MS have problems with thinking, learning and planning – known as cognitive dysfunction. This can include:
  • problems learning and remembering new things – long-term memory is usually unaffected
  • slowness in processing lots of information or multi-tasking
  • a shortened attention span
  • getting stuck on words
  • problems with understanding and processing visual information, such as reading a map
  • difficulty with planning and problem solving – people often report that they know what they want to do, but can't grasp how to do it
  • problems with reasoning, such as mathematical laws or solving puzzles
However, many of these problems aren't specific to MS and can be caused by a wide range of other conditions, including depression and anxiety, or even some medications.

Mental health issues

Many people with MS experience periods of depression. It's unclear whether this is directly caused by MS, or is due to the stress of having to live with a long-term condition, or both.
Anxiety can also be a problem for people with MS, possibly due to the unpredictable nature of the condition.
In rare cases, people with MS can experience rapid and severe mood swings, suddenly bursting into tears, laughing or shouting angrily for no apparent reason.

Sexual problems

MS can have an effect on sexual function.
Men with MS often find it hard to obtain or maintain an erection (erectile dysfunction). They may also find it takes a lot longer to ejaculate when having sex or masturbating, and may even lose the ability to ejaculate altogether.
For women, problems include difficulty reaching orgasm, as well as decreased vaginal lubrication and sensation.
Both men and women with MS may find they are less interested in sex than they were before. This could be directly related to MS, or it could be the result of living with the condition.

Bladder problems

Bladder problems are common in MS. They may include:
  • having to pee more frequently
  • having a sudden, urgent need to pee, which can lead to unintentionally passing urine (urge incontinence)
  • difficulty emptying the bladder completely
  • having to get up frequently during the night to pee
  • recurrent urinary tract infections
These problems can also have a range of causes other than MS.

Bowel problems

Many people with MS also have problems with their bowel function.
Constipation is the most common problem. You may find passing stools difficult and pass them much less frequently than normal.
Bowel incontinence is less common, but is often linked to constipation. If a stool becomes stuck, it can irritate the wall of the bowel, causing it to produce more fluid and mucus that can leak out of your bottom.
Again, some of these problems aren't specific to MS and can even be the result of medications, such as medicines prescribed for pain.

Speech and swallowing difficulties

Some people with MS experience difficulty chewing or swallowing (dysphagia) at some point.
Speech may also become slurred, or difficult to understand (dysarthria).

Your are a Success balling

Your mess is your message and your vision is your permission to move. How are you holding up today? Do you compare your life with other people's lives and feel you are not doing well? Do you think the last 5 years or more you spent caring for your parents has been in vain or a waste of your money and time? Do you feel that degree you are pursuing is not what you should have? Be bold and have a positive spirit today. Life is coined with puzzles and mazes. However, you alone can decipher the clue to it because it is always there in front of you. Be proactive, face that challenge, do right by yourself and life will be simple for you. Rosemary Nonny Knight made a point on this which I want to share here: Everyone thinks they have to show up in the world as having it all together... They want to put on a mask and be all perfect... Knowing all things, being all things to all people, saviour of the world types that actually do not do very much at all because all their energy is taken up with trying to pretend they have it all made! And yet, we all KNOW that you are putting on a front! We all KNOW it and we dislike you for trying to be perfect (just so you know!) And we turn our backs on your crazy nonsense! The people we admire are the AUTHENTIC ones - the real ones that wear their hearts on their sleeves and somehow manage to keep things going... The ones that encourage us to believe that even though things are not perfect now, we have a shot! They show us that we could make more stuff happen if we just stayed on the journey... I used to be that person, pretending to know it all, pretending to always be happy and full of life but over the last year or so, I have progressively taken off the layers and laid myself bare more and more and more to the people I am called to serve... Why? Because I truly care for your happiness and it really does not serve you to think that getting everything you want is going to be a happy walk in the park while singing happy-clappy songs and doing nothing more than wishing for it! That has not worked for anyone I know, and I highly doubt that it will work for you! But then people get in their heads this idea that their hardship is theirs alone... that no one else has gone through the same nonsense... they make it mean that they cannot make their own business work... They make it mean any number of crazy things and guess what! It just means you are on the journey! And the ones that really make it and go on to impact crazy amounts of people and make an awesome amount of money, are simply the ones who own all their craziness, lay it on the line and keep doing the work anyway! Yes, honey, your mess is your message! Especially if you are one of my peeps, called to inspire, teach, coach, speak, heal... Then for real... No one wants your perfect, "I-have-it-all-together" nonsense... That may have worked in your corporate career where everyone is fake but in the entrepreneur world... No one can relate to that and you will just sound like every other nonsensical person out there trying to be perfect and bland... Let that nonsense go! And also, let go of the fake authenticity where you are trying to pull on my heartstrings every other second... And hoping that I will cry my way to buying from you because you told me your story of rags to riches... I need to have a gut reaction to you... And that only happens when I see you being vulnerable AND authentic... Have you ever had a vulnerability hangover? As Brene Brown, I think, puts it... Where you share something with the world and you wonder if you are breaking your business by being that real? And frankly, you feel sick that you did such a crazy thing... And you wonder if you can be that real again but... But you cannot do it any other way anymore because you are committed to building a life surrounded by people you are called to serve? And so, you have to trust the fact that the real ones will come and everyone else will be repelled... And what if you have spent most of your business life attracting anyone from anywhere and so now as you decide to show up powerfully as yourself, messy message and all... As you finally start to pay attention to that true vision that you have always had and you finally give yourself permission to be you in all your messy glory... You then see all the people you sweat blood and tears to get onto your mailing list, you see them start to walk away because that was not what they signed up for and in that moment you worry that you are maybe going too far but you choose to trust... Trust that as you deliberately polarize the lookie-loos, you will finally get in touch with the real ones... But it is scary... In your present moment, it is scary... And you wonder... But you keep the faith, you keep showing up, you refuse to let the fear overwhelm you... You put your game face on and you trust that your story, your mess is exactly what your people need to hear... And you trust that the vision you have carried forever is all the permission you need to be your true real self calling in the people you want to serve... And honey, you just keep showing up... You set the goal for your business, for your life and then you release it and JUST SHOW UP! You tap into a deep courage within you just to be you and KNOW that it is enough! You stop indulging the fear, the self-doubt... You see it but you lay it to one side and you show up with your mess and with your glory and with your vision... You stop waiting for some external person to tell you to go... You say what must be said... And you release it... You stop caring so much about the result because you trust that your people are watching cautiously to start with and then little by little, they put their hands up and come closer into your world... And little by little, everything changes... The people you are surrounded by are exactly the people you saw in your vision of what life could be... Your bank account looks exactly how you saw it in your vision and in fact, you now wish you had asked for more and so you do... You wake up feeling good and excited about the work you are now doing and wonder why it took you so long to take off the limits that others (and yourself) had imposed on you because now, life feels so good... Business, life, life, business... All flowing lovely together... And you feel fulfilled but not so fulfilled that you are not already looking to the next thing... Ultimately, you learn by trusting that your mess is your true message and your vision has always been your permission to move. Is there a point to this? Your mess is your message - Share it... Your vision is your permission - MOVE! Fight for, deliberately design the life you are born to live Because you want to! Don't give up! DonVic believes in you greatly. You are the next in line for a miracle. However position yourself well to receive it. My father once said to be: "Chiemela, Never rest on your oars". I never understood it at first but those words lingered long in my head. Keep paddling, even if the waves of life's sea are moving in the opposite direction. You will get there, and your name will be heard too. Winston Churchill, the former Prime Minister of UK was invited to give a speech to some children in the primary school where he attended, and all he said was: "Never give up, Never ever give up, Never never ever give up!" No matter what life throws at you, you can use those stones and bricks to make a good foundation and build your dream house. You are an achiever, you are a warrior, you are a Victor. I bless you today, dream big. You too can be in Guinness Book of World Record, or win a Nobel Prize or be an International Ambassador. Greater things are on the way for you, simply open up your mind to possibilities. I believe in you. Maybe you thought today is so bleak, keep knocking at that wall, it will come down. At the end of the tunnel, there is always light. No matter who says you can't make it, tell them you can because DonVic says so. Life is no bed of roses, but we can get our beds with roses, only if we work harder. I know you are determined, and so success is knocking on your door, just open the door. Its as simple as that- Open the door to Success. Sometimes you are told you cannot make it, or be a manager at your place of work. People can say you will not see the stuff you want, be passionate. Look for people that will genuinely help you, teach you what you need to know, and seek knowledge like its all you need, and you will be both wiser and richer. In life, there is something people don't see behind a successful man, and that is the time, challenges, effort, determination, failures he has had, losses he has had, trials he has had, etc. However, he stayed determined and became successful in his career/business. This is called the ICEBERG ILLUSION. People now want to associate with him simple because he has "arrived". Being a success mounts you up on wings like an eagle, but you must never forget your humble beginnings. Be humble, and know your root, and where you started. In trying to get to the top, you can climb on people's bags, receive help when you need it, do not be proud. Do not care what his family will think of you, if you think he/she can help you, try to reach out. Be polite and diplomatic in your actions but also be dependable. Know what you want and go for it. A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. In life, keep positive. They say: "opportunity comes but once" I say: Opportunity does not come just once, it comes many times, just be open and ready for it. You should never waste any opportunity given to you, because time is precious. Time lost can never be regained. Plan yourself well, use your time wisely. My prayer for you today is that you will be a solution provider. Nations will come to you for advise. You shall make it big time, just believe. Believe in yourself and trust GOD. God is the ultimate. Stay great. See you at the top! Happy sabbath, Best wishes to you. DonVic cares....

Ladies and Money

One of my friend who got married early this year called me, he said '' my guy, am tired of that so called wife ooooo '' I asked why? And he said, she was a pretender, she pretended for me to marry her. But changed after the wedding.. I asked again ''how? He continued' 'Do you know, I used to give that girl #1,000 and she will collect, go to the market, buy things and cook good food for us? Now after our wedding, if I give her #2,000 for food, she will complain that is not enough '' I replied '' my guy, Noooooooo!! She Was not pretending @all.. Let me explain it better, Do you know the mistakes we men do, Is that we do misunderstood ladies. Do you know a lady can manage you as her boyfriend, but she can't manage you as her husband? She can only cope with you and manage her marriage.. When you date a girl. You give her #1,000 to prepare food, she goes, come back and cook food of #2,500.you ate the food and tell her,you lick the plate and tell her.. thank you honey, your food is sweet, you never cared to know how she came about with such meal with your #1,000, especially if she is not working. You can't even ask her, Dear, I gave you #1,000, how come you cook the food of #2,500, where did you get the remaining money? All you could tell your friends is that my girl is good!! She can manage ooooo, if I give her #1,000 and she cook expensive food without complaining,, I will marry her''and your friends will ignorantly reply you '' O boy she is good '' how I desire for such a woman ooooo.. You might not know what she did to support her relationship with you. But when once is married, she won't be able to do such things again, she won't be able to support the way she used to, coz, she terminated those money avenues, just to be with you as her husband, try to understand women and you won't have problem with them. They are very simple if you understand them..
